Welcome to my little goofy blog, I am a 20 something who loves being active and eating! My goal with this blog is to document my training and share the recipes I create.
On Training: Being outside and being active have been a huge part of my life since I was a wee baby and I still love it! I grew up downhill and x-country skiing in the winter and biking in the summers with my family. In elementary school I started running with the xcountry running team and continued throughout high school. During university I gave up running competitively for a spot on the variety rowing team which kept me very busy with both training and an active social life. After university my love for running returned (along with a road and mountain bike addiction) and I started training for marathons and distance bike events.
On Food: While I am not a vegan or a vegetarian I do follow a mostly vegetarian diet (though I still love a good steak) and most of my baking is vegan and trans/saturated fat free for heathy heart living.
